Alo is the Director of the Doctoral Program of Shalom University of Bunia (D.R.C). His research interests include the role of Holy Scriptures and theological education in the holistic development of the church in Africa and its people. He completed his studies in the Democratic Republic of Congo before pursuing his PhD in Translation Studies at Africa International University in Kenya.
Marcos Orison de Almeida, PhD
Marcos serves as a full-time Professor at South American Theological Seminary In Londrina Brazil. He is also Assignee Representative before the federal government for accreditation processes. His research interests include missiology (Contextual and Urban Mission), Systematic and Biblical Theology, Liturgical Theology. He earned his PhD in Intercultural Studies at Fuller Theological Seminary.
Athena Gorospe, PhD
Athena serves as Associate Professor and Research Director at Asian Theological Seminary, Manila, Philippines. Her research interests include the Old Testament, with publications on Exodus and the book of Ruth. She earned her PhD in Theology with an Old Testament focus at Fuller Theological Seminary.
John Jusu, PhD
Born in Sierra Leone, John served as professor and Dean of the School of Education, Arts and Social Sciences and taught in the Educational Studies Department at Africa International University in Nairobi. He now serves as the Regional Director for Africa for Overseas Council. John earned his PhD in Educational Studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
A. N. Lal Senanayake, PhD
Lal serves as the President of Lanka Bible College and Seminary (LBCS), a leading interdenominational evangelical theological training institution in Sri Lanka. He earned his PhD in Educational Studies at Trinity International University. He also serves in the pastoral team at Lighthouse church, Kandy. His research interests include cognitive development and the role of education in reaching his country for Christ.
David Suazo J., PhD
David serves as a Theology Professor at Central American Theological Seminary in Guatemala City, where he also directs the Doctoral Program in Theological Education. His research interests include: historical, biblical and contemporary Theology, and theological education, mostly on its theological issues. David earned his Ph.D. in Theological Education from SETECA.
Tharwat Whaba, PhD
Tharwat earned his Ph.D. in 2009 from the London School of Theology where his research focused on the history of Presbyterian Mission in Egypt and Sudan. Tharwat currently serves as the chair of the mission department in Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo.
Carver Yu, PhD
Carver Yu earned his D. Phil. at Oxford) and D.D. at Edinburgh. He is currently the Abundant Grace Distinguished Professor of Theological Studies and President Emeritus China Graduate School of Theology in Hong Kong. His research interests include: Christian faith and public values, Christian faith and Chinese culture, and the future of theological education.
Evan R. Hunter, PhD
Evan Hunter has worked with ScholarLeaders International since 2004, currently serving as Vice President. He earned his PhD in Educational Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School where his dissertation explored contextual engagement of evangelical PhD programs located in the Majority World. His research interests include issues related to faculty development, sustainability, contextualization and learning approaches within theological education.
