Lisa Washington Lamb received a BA in Classics from UC Santa Cruz in 1985, an MDiv from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2004, and PhD in Practical Theology (with a homiletics emphasis) from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2008. She is an ordained minister with the Presbyterian Church (USA). Prior to her studies, she served as a campus minister and staff supervisor with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IFES) for over a decade. She and her husband, Rich Lamb, have two children, aged 24 and 26. She has trained pastors and seminary students in several countries in Latin America, Eastern Europe, and Southeast Asia. Currently, she serves as Visiting Professor of Homiletics at Fuller Theological Seminary.
